About this role
The team is seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to manage and maintain their database environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security, performance, and reliability of Oracle databases as well as other database systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Oracle database installations, configurations, and patching.
- Ensure secure and optimized performance across Oracle and other databases.
- Execute backup, recovery, and high-availability strategies.
- Monitor and troubleshoot performance using indexing and tuning methods.
- Administer Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB environments.
- Handle user access controls, data security, and compliance.
- Conduct disaster recovery drills and validate backup procedures.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize database interactions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with Oracle database administration, including installation and configuration.
- Proficiency in PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
- Knowledge of database security practices and compliance standards.
- Experience in performance tuning and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with backup and recovery strategies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in database administration.
