About this role
The team is seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator to manage and optimize their database environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the secure and efficient operation of Oracle and other database systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Oracle database installations, configurations, and patching.
- Ensure secure and optimized performance across Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB databases.
- Execute backup, recovery, and high-availability strategies.
- Monitor and troubleshoot performance using indexing and tuning methods.
- Handle user access controls, data security, and compliance.
- Conduct disaster recovery drills and validate backup procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with Oracle database administration, including installation, configuration, and performance tuning.
- Proficiency in PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB administration.
- Knowledge of backup and recovery strategies, as well as high-availability solutions.
- Familiarity with user access management and data security best practices.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in database administration.
