About this role
The team is seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and upgrading of Oracle databases, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle databases.
- Manage Oracle Administration tasks including RAC, RMAN, Data Guard, and Golden Gate.
- Conduct performance tuning of Oracle databases to enhance efficiency.
- Implement and manage Oracle backup and recovery strategies.
- Set up Oracle replication and slave configurations.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Oracle tools and databases.
- Write and maintain scripts and procedures to automate database tasks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure database integrity and security.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with Oracle database technologies and tools.
- Proficiency in RAC, RMAN, Data Guard, Golden Gate, and Exadata.
- Familiarity with WebLogic middleware, Forms and Reports.
- Experience with various storage engines and Oracle customer tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration.
