About this role
The team is seeking a skilled Network Support Engineer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of the network infrastructure that supports the team’s edge cloud platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot network issues and implement solutions that enhance customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain network performance and availability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize network configurations.
- Assist in the deployment and management of network hardware and software.
- Document network configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Provide technical support to internal teams and customers as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of networking protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
- Experience with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with cloud services and edge computing concepts.
- Proficient in scripting or programming languages (Python, Bash, etc.) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in network support or related field.
