About this role
The team is seeking a skilled Network Security Engineer L3 to join their Service Operations team in Mumbai. This is an onsite position with a rotational shift schedule, requiring availability for 24x7 operations. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of network systems amidst the growing AI revolution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and respond to security incidents and alerts in real-time.
- Implement and manage security measures to protect network systems from vulnerabilities.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify potential risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security protocols and best practices.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members.
- Stay updated on the latest security trends and technologies to proactively address emerging threats.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience in network security principles and practices.
- Proficiency with security tools and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and VPNs.
- Familiarity with network protocols and architecture (TCP/IP, DNS, etc.).
- Experience with incident response and security incident management.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CCSP) are a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years in network security or a related field.
