The team is a leading automation-driven, application-focused Cloud Managed Services Provider (MSP) seeking a Network Security Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role involves ensuring the security and integrity of the network infrastructure while supporting multi-cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage network security solutions to protect sensitive data and systems.
- Monitor network traffic for unusual activity and respond to security incidents.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential threats.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to network security configurations and procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong experience with firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and other security technologies.
- Proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.) and security frameworks.
- Familiarity with cloud security best practices, particularly in multi-cloud environments.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCSP are highly desirable.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in network security or a related field.
