About this role
The team is seeking a skilled Network Security Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and troubleshooting network security and switching solutions. You will provide technical support for customer network environments and ensure the integrity and security of their networks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and configure network security devices and solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity and security issues.
- Perform routine health checks and maintenance of network devices.
- Monitor network performance and security to identify potential threats.
- Coordinate with customers to understand their requirements and provide timely resolutions.
- Document technical issues, configurations, and solutions for future reference.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and support.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with network security protocols and technologies.
- Proficiency in configuring and managing firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
- Knowledge of routing and switching protocols.
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
Experience:
- A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in network security engineering or a related field is required.
