The team is seeking a skilled Network Security Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of the network infrastructure, focusing on threat detection, incident response, and proactive threat hunting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Continuously monitor endpoint logs and security alerts for suspicious behavior using EDR platforms.
- Contain infected devices by isolating them from the network and removing malicious files or processes.
- Proactively search for hidden threats within the network rather than waiting for alerts.
- Deploy, configure, and manage EDR tools to enhance security measures.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement patch management and ensure compliance with security policies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with LAN and WAN technologies.
- Proficiency in firewall management and configuration.
- Expertise in endpoint detection and response (EDR) solutions.
- Solid understanding of IT patch management processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of experience in network security or a related field is required.
