About this role
The team is seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join their team in Pune, Mumbai, Chennai, or Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience as an L3 WLAN Network Engineer within a large-scale, preferably multinational, technology services environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage WLAN solutions in complex network environments.
- Configure and troubleshoot Cisco Switches (45XX, 3750/6500) and Routers (ASR 1000 Series, 72xx/2600/2800, 3800 series).
- Manage IP routing protocols including EIGRP and OSPF, ensuring optimal network performance.
- Implement Quality of Service (QoS) policies and manage Virtual Routing and Forwarding (VRF) and VRF lite configurations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless network operations and support.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an L3 WLAN Network Engineer in a large-scale technology services setting.
- Strong knowledge of Cisco networking equipment and IP routing protocols.
- Proficient in troubleshooting complex network issues and implementing effective solutions.
- Familiarity with advanced switching skills including Spanning Tree Protocol (STP).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience:
- Minimum of 12 years and up to 25 years of relevant experience in network engineering.
