The team is seeking a Music Transcription & Computational Audio Expert with a strong proficiency in Python. This role involves reconstructing precise musical scores from complex polyphonic recordings, requiring a deep understanding of audio processing and music theory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and process audio recordings to separate simultaneous vocal and instrumental lines.
- Develop algorithms for accurate music transcription and score reconstruction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance audio analysis tools and methodologies.
- Conduct research to improve transcription accuracy and efficiency.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on audio data analysis.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in audio signal processing and music transcription.
- Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in relevant libraries (e.g., NumPy, SciPy).
- Familiarity with machine learning techniques applied to audio analysis.
- Knowledge of music theory and composition is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in audio processing or a related field.
