The team is seeking a motivated and experienced MTS 2, Software Engineer specializing in Data Platforms. This role is pivotal in driving innovation and enhancing the data infrastructure that supports the team e-commerce platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize data solutions that empower millions of users globally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain robust data pipelines and architectures to support analytics and reporting.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data needs and deliver effective solutions.
- Optimize existing data processes for performance and scalability.
- Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous testing and validation.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data engineering and apply them to improve our systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- Experience with data processing frameworks like Apache Spark or Hadoop.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Familiarity with cloud services, particularly AWS or Azure.

Experience:
- 5-8 years of experience in software engineering with a focus on data platforms.
