The team is seeking an experienced MS SQL Database Administrator to maintain and optimize SQL Server databases for stability and performance. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the security, availability, and efficiency of database systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and optimize SQL Server databases to ensure high performance and stability.
- Implement and validate database backup and recovery processes to safeguard data.
- Ensure database security through access control and auditing practices.
- Manage high availability solutions using clustering and replication techniques.
- Install, configure, and patch SQL Server databases to keep systems up-to-date.
- Monitor and troubleshoot database performance issues proactively.
- Design and implement secure and stable database structures tailored to business needs.
- Manage multi-database environments, ensuring seamless integration and performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with MS SQL Server, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Proficiency in database backup, recovery, and security practices.
- Familiarity with high availability solutions such as clustering and replication.
- Experience in performance tuning and troubleshooting SQL databases.
- Knowledge of database design principles and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in database administration, specifically with MS SQL Server.
