The team is seeking a skilled MongoDB Administrator to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing MongoDB databases to ensure peak performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and upgrade MongoDB databases.
- Monitor database performance, availability, and health, implementing improvements as needed.
- Perform database backup and recovery procedures.
- Manage database users and permissions effectively.
- Optimize database performance through indexing and query optimization.
- Conduct capacity planning to ensure efficient use of database resources.
- Perform regular performance tuning and troubleshooting.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with MongoDB administration and management.
- Proficiency in database performance tuning and optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with backup and recovery processes.
- Knowledge of database security and user management.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in database administration, specifically with MongoDB.
