About this role
The team is seeking a skilled Mobile Automation Test Engineer with a strong background in Appium to join their team in Pune or Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in mobile testing for both Android and iOS platforms, along with a solid understanding of API testing and automation framework development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement automated test scripts using Appium for mobile applications.
- Conduct thorough mobile testing on both Android and iOS devices.
- Develop and maintain automation frameworks to enhance testing efficiency.
- Perform API testing to ensure backend services are functioning as expected.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify testing requirements and ensure quality standards are met.
- Utilize CI/CD tools like Jenkins for continuous integration and delivery of applications.
- Manage version control using Git and participate in code reviews.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficient in Appium, Selenium, and Playwright for mobile automation testing.
- Strong experience in Android and iOS testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with REST API testing and automation.
- Knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools, particularly Jenkins.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in mobile automation testing.
