About this role
The team is seeking a Mobile App Developer to design innovative mobile applications for a rapidly growing e-commerce provider in Konstanz. You will work within an agile team focused on the development and optimization of native iOS or Android apps. This project has an initial duration of 9 months and involves a complete overhaul of an existing shopping app as well as the implementation of new features.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain native mobile applications for iOS (Swift/Objective-C) or Android (Kotlin/Java).
- Design and implement user-friendly, intuitive interfaces according to platform standards and UI/UX guidelines.
- Integrate REST APIs and other backend services, including the implementation of push notifications and in-app purchases.
- Optimize app performance and conduct automated testing to ensure high code quality.
- Analyze and troubleshoot issues in existing applications.
- Implement tracking and analytics mechanisms to monitor app usage and create technical documentation.
- Assist with app store releases and update processes.
- Support the setup of CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with the backend team on API interface definitions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in native app development for iOS or Android.
- Proven expertise in Swift/Objective-C for iOS or Kotlin/Java for Android.
- Strong knowledge in integrating RESTful APIs and offline data storage.
- Experience with modern development methodologies such as MVVM, Clean Architecture, or Redux.
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git), automated testing, and CI/CD processes.
- Good command of English is essential.
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
- A keen sense of usability and UI/UX design.
- Ability to work independently while being a team player with excellent communication skills.
- Quality-conscious and reliable in meeting deadlines.
- Willingness to learn and openness to new technologies.
Experience Level:
- 4-6 years of relevant experience in mobile app development.
