About this role
The team is seeking a Middle Java Engineer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will focus on developing an integrated supply chain event platform that enables data capture and enhances operational efficiency. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications for the supply chain platform.
- Collaborate with product managers and other engineers to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Optimize application performance and ensure scalability of the platform.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Java and experience with frameworks such as Spring or Hibernate.
- Strong understanding of software development principles and design patterns.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Experience with databases (SQL or NoSQL) and data modeling.
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.) is a plus.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of professional experience in software development, specifically with Java.
