About this role

Our client is seeking a solid Mid-Level Unity Developer to join their team on a full-time contract basis. This role requires a candidate who can work autonomously and effectively solve problems. There is a strong possibility of extending this contract into a longer-term arrangement based on performance.

In this position, you will be pushing the boundaries of the development pipeline, relying heavily on modern AI tools. It is essential that you are comfortable using AI coding assistants directly in your local PC setup, whether through AI IDEs like Google Antigravity, Cursor, or terminal agents like Claude Code hooked into the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Additionally, experience with Virtual Reality is a significant advantage, although you do not need to be a senior VR architect.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Core Development: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable C# code for Unity.
  • AI Integration & Workflow: Utilize AI tools (Claude Code, Google Antigravity, MCP servers) to accelerate development, debug code, and automate tasks.
  • Asset Management: Handle 3D models within Unity, including importing assets, setting up prefabs, managing materials, and organizing hierarchies.
  • Adaptability: Be flexible and willing to learn new systems, SDKs, and workflows as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3–4 years of proven, commercial Unity development experience.
  • Hands-on experience with AI coding tools integrated into your PC environment.
  • Solid understanding of standard 3D asset pipelines from a developer's perspective.
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to learning.

Bonus / Nice-to-Have:

  • Prior experience developing Virtual Reality (VR) applications in Unity.
  • Ownership of a VR headset for local testing, such as a Meta Quest 2 or 3.

What we offer:

  • A fully remote work environment.
  • The opportunity to work on innovative projects with the possibility of contract extension based on performance.
