About this role
The team is seeking a Microsoft and Kernel Virtualization Systems Manager to lead the management and delivery of systems and infrastructure utilizing Microsoft and Kernel-Based Virtualization technologies. This role will report to the Head of IT Infrastructure within the CTIO organization and will play a crucial role in overseeing both cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and support complex cloud environments, including M365, Azure, and GCP.
- Oversee on-premises infrastructure and hybrid enterprise integrations.
- Lead a team of IT professionals to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure capabilities with business needs.
- Implement best practices for virtualization technologies and ensure system reliability and performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to virtualization and infrastructure.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with Microsoft virtualization technologies (e.g., Hyper-V, Azure).
- Proficiency in Kernel-Based Virtual Machine (KVM) technologies.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Azure and GCP.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Relevant certifications in Microsoft technologies or cloud computing are a plus.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years in IT infrastructure management, with a focus on virtualization technologies.
