The team is seeking a skilled Microservices with Node.js Developer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in leading commercial software development, particularly in microservices and API development. This role focuses on back-end development using Node.js frameworks and requires a strong understanding of database systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of microservices and APIs using Node.js frameworks such as Fastify, Express.js, or Moleculer.
- Oversee API development and integration, ensuring robust communication through REST/JSON, Kafka, and message queues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable software solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
- Maintain and optimize existing applications and services for performance and scalability.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in Node.js development at an enterprise level.
- Strong knowledge of microservices architecture and API design principles.
- Proficiency in database systems such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Familiarity with cloud services and deployment strategies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in software development, specifically with microservices and Node.js.
