About this role

The team is seeking an experienced Member of Technical Staff specialized in USB and BSP Development to join their Helix Virtualization Platform (HVP) and VxWorks development teams. In this role, you will be responsible for the development, implementation, and certification of safety-critical features and functionality for Aerospace, Industrial, and Automotive customers. As a team lead, you will guide a highly skilled development team in ensuring all aspects of safety and compliance are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of USB and BSP solutions.
  • Ensure the certification of safety-critical features in compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and timelines.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers in best practices and technical skills.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to system performance and safety.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong experience in USB and BSP development.
  • Proficiency in C/C++ programming languages.
  • Familiarity with safety-critical software development standards (e.g., DO-178C, ISO 26262).
  • Experience with real-time operating systems, preferably VxWorks.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Experience:

  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in software development, particularly in safety-critical systems.
