About this role
The team is seeking a Maritime Data Analyst to actively source, verify, and maintain Port, Terminal, and Berth (PTB) data. This role is essential for supporting full-coverage, market-standard refresh cycles for the team’s PTB and all other data products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and verify PTB data to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Maintain and update data sets to reflect current market conditions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance data quality and accessibility.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends and insights within the maritime sector.
- Assist in the development of data reporting tools and dashboards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Maritime Studies, or Business.
- 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within a shipping company or port environment.
- Proficiency in data management tools and software.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
