The team is seeking a highly skilled Manager/Sr Oracle Database Administrator Lead with a strong background in AWS database services. The ideal candidate will be passionate about cloud technology and possess a deep understanding of various AWS database offerings. In this hybrid role, you will collaborate closely with customers to comprehend their unique business needs and provide expert guidance to ensure their database systems are secure, scalable, and performant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of database solutions on AWS.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their requirements and provide tailored database solutions.
- Represent the DEVOPS team in application modernization and cloud migration projects.
- Ensure the security, scalability, and performance of database systems.
- Provide expert guidance and direction to team members and stakeholders.
- Monitor and optimize database performance and reliability.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Extensive experience with AWS database services such as RDS, DynamoDB, and Redshift.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle database administration and management.
- Proficiency in database design, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with cloud migration and application modernization projects.
- Familiarity with DEVOPS practices and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in database administration and cloud technologies.
