About this role
The team is seeking a dynamic Manager of Software Engineering who is passionate about working closely with the hardware/software interface to enable the management of a fleet of devices in tomorrow's data center environments. This role requires a strong understanding of board management controllers and low-level drivers, along with the ability to mentor and guide a team of engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage cross-functional teams including designers, customers, manufacturing engineering, and project leadership.
- Oversee the development and implementation of software solutions for device management in data centers.
- Ensure high-quality software delivery by implementing best practices in software development.
- Mentor and support team members in their technical growth and project contributions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in software engineering, particularly with board management controllers and low-level drivers.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++ and Python.
- Familiarity with data center technologies and device management systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in software engineering and team management.
