The team is seeking a Manager of Security Engineering and Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) to lead their security initiatives and ensure compliance with industry standards. This role is critical in safeguarding the organization’s assets and data while fostering a culture of security awareness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement security engineering practices and GRC strategies.
- Conduct risk assessments and manage compliance audits to ensure adherence to regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle.
- Monitor security threats and vulnerabilities, and respond to incidents effectively.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on security best practices and compliance requirements.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging threats to continuously improve security posture.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in security engineering, risk management, and compliance (5-8 years).
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or similar.
- Proficiency in security tools and technologies (e.g., SIEM, firewalls, intrusion detection systems).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
