About this role
The team is seeking a Manager - Quality Assurance (Projects) to oversee the quality, safety, durability, and compliance of retail store fixtures and Capex equipment. This role is crucial in ensuring that all materials and installations meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct material inspections and structural/load-bearing testing for gondolas, racks, shelving, hangers, glass, and other store fixtures.
- Perform vendor quality audits to ensure adherence to defined QA standards.
- Verify the quality and safety of fixture installations at various store sites.
- Identify defects and drive corrective actions in collaboration with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Establish quality checkpoints and maintain documentation of quality assurance processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in quality assurance within the retail or manufacturing sector.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively.
Experience:
- A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in quality assurance or a related field, with a focus on project management.
