About this role
The team is seeking an experienced IT SaaS Category Manager to lead the strategy for the IT SaaS category, ensuring operational efficiencies across the board. This role requires a strong network with IT leadership, including the CDIO, CTO, and CISO, to foster collaboration with customers, suppliers, key stakeholders, and team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with business objectives.
- Build and manage procurement projects throughout the entire procurement life cycle.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and address procurement needs.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and partners.
- Monitor market trends and adjust strategies accordingly to maximize value.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in IT SaaS procurement and category management.
- Strong understanding of IT operations and technology trends.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in IT procurement or category management.
