About this role
As a Manager – Engineering, you will lead cross-functional engineering teams responsible for delivering solutions across backend, frontend, and integration layers. You will translate business priorities into clear execution plans, drive sprint outcomes, strengthen engineering quality, and ensure predictable, high-confidence delivery. This role combines people leadership, technical stewardship, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor engineering teams to achieve project goals and enhance team performance.
- Oversee the development and implementation of software solutions across various layers.
- Ensure adherence to architectural guardrails and best practices in software development.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align engineering efforts with business objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance engineering processes and quality.
- Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables effectively.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in full-stack development with proficiency in both frontend and backend technologies.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing engineering teams.
- Excellent understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
- Familiarity with tools and technologies such as React, Node.js, Python, and cloud platforms.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
