The team is seeking a visionary and results-driven Engineering Manager to lead their eCommerce Search and Catalog engineering teams. This role is pivotal in driving innovation and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the design, development, and deployment of scalable eCommerce solutions using modern technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Ensure the integration of best practices in software development, including code reviews and testing protocols.
- Manage project timelines and resources effectively to meet business goals.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation within the team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, and other messaging systems.
- Proficiency in Java and Microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as React.
- Experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Solid understanding of database technologies like SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, and NoSQL.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with a proven track record of managing engineering teams.
Experience:
- 9-12 years of relevant experience in software engineering and team management.
