Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and guide a team of data engineers, ensuring their professional development and optimizing team performance.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning within the team.
- Lead performance reviews, provide career guidance, and handle resource planning.
- Data Engineering Analytics: Design and implement data pipelines, data models, and ensure data quality and integrity across systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that support business objectives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in data engineering, with a strong understanding of data architecture and data modeling.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- Experience with data processing frameworks like Apache Spark or Hadoop.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in data engineering or a related field, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
