Manager - Cyber Security

The team is seeking a Manager - Cyber Security to lead their cybersecurity initiatives and ensure the protection of sensitive information across the organization. This role involves developing and implementing robust security strategies to safeguard against cyber threats while fostering a culture of security awareness among employees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive cybersecurity policies and procedures.
• Monitor and analyze security incidents to identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective measures.
• Lead a team of cybersecurity professionals, providing guidance and support in threat detection and response.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure security best practices are integrated into all systems and processes.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies to enhance the organization's security posture.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in cybersecurity management, with a focus on risk assessment and incident response.
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in security tools and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption methods.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to train and motivate staff.

Experience:

• 5-8 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
