About this role
The team is seeking a skilled Mainframe QA/Test Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of Mainframe-based applications through comprehensive testing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories for Mainframe applications.
- Design and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test data for functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
- Validate business processes including New Business, Policy Issuance, Policy Servicing, Endorsements, Renewals, Claims Processing, and Billing & Payments.
- Perform testing across applications and Mainframe systems to ensure data integrity and business functionality.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience in Mainframe testing methodologies and tools.
- Proficiency in designing test cases and executing various types of testing.
- Familiarity with business processes related to insurance and financial services.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Experience:
- A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in QA testing, specifically within Mainframe environments.
