The team is seeking a skilled Mainframe Developer & Support Specialist to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting mainframe applications, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, code, test, and implement mainframe applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing mainframe systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Perform system upgrades and enhancements as needed.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in mainframe programming languages such as COBOL, JCL, and CICS.
- Experience with database management systems like DB2 or IMS.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with mainframe tools and utilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Experience:
- A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in mainframe development and support.
