We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Developer to join the team’s team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mainframe application development and maintenance, with a focus on COBOL and JCL. In this role, you will work closely with various teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, and IMS DB and IMS DC.
- Perform system analysis and troubleshooting to resolve issues in existing applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in coding and documentation.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficient in COBOL, JCL, IMS DB, and IMS DC.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with mainframe development tools and environments.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in mainframe application development.
