About this role
The team is seeking an experienced Mainframe Developer with strong expertise in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining enterprise applications on IBM Mainframe platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, VSAM, and other mainframe technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance, and maintain applications on the IBM Mainframe platform.
- Write and optimize COBOL code for performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure functionality.
- Maintain documentation for developed applications and processes.
- Provide support and troubleshooting for existing applications.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, and VSAM.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with mainframe development tools and methodologies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience:
- 4-8 years of relevant experience in mainframe development.
