The team is seeking a Head of Data Governance to lead their data management strategy and ensure compliance across all data-related processes. This role is critical in driving data quality, security, and accessibility, while fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive data governance framework that aligns with business objectives.
- Establish data quality standards and metrics to monitor compliance and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data is managed effectively throughout its lifecycle.
- Lead initiatives to enhance data security and privacy practices in compliance with regulations.
- Provide training and support to staff on data governance policies and best practices.
- Act as a liaison between stakeholders to promote data literacy and usage across the organization.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in data governance, data management, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of data privacy regulations and compliance standards.
- Familiarity with data management tools and technologies, such as data cataloging, data quality, and data lineage tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Experience:
- Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience in data governance or data management roles.
