About this role
The team is seeking a skilled Linux System Administrator to provide 24/7 hosting and infrastructure support for Magento eCommerce environments. This role is essential for ensuring high availability, security, performance, and operational stability of the systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor infrastructure using Zabbix and AWS CloudWatch.
- Provide 24/7 incident response and conduct root cause analysis (RCA) documentation.
- Manage Debian Linux servers and configure NGINX, PHP, Redis, Varnish, and Elasticsearch.
- Oversee AWS services including EC2, RDS, ELB, S3, Route53, and Auto Scaling.
- Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues in a timely manner.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with Linux system administration, particularly Debian.
- Proficiency in web server management (NGINX) and application performance tuning.
- Familiarity with AWS services and cloud infrastructure management.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Zabbix and AWS CloudWatch.
- Experience with incident response and documentation practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in system administration or a similar role.
