About this role
The team is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Cyber Incident Response Consultant to join their Legal team. In this role, you will support Cyber Incident Response projects involving the identification, assessment, and review of data related to security incidents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Cyber Incident Response projects across multiple industries and customers.
- Analyze incident-related data and identify relevant information based on defined guidelines.
- Assess sensitive data and potential exposure risks.
- Collaborate with legal teams to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation of findings and recommendations.
- Provide expert advice on incident response strategies and legal implications.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in Cyber Incident Response and legal consulting.
- Strong understanding of data protection laws and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate complex information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with security tools and frameworks relevant to incident response.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years in Cyber Incident Response and legal consulting roles.
