About this role
The team is seeking a Legal Agreement Vetting Specialist to support their Software SAAS firm. This role involves managing and enhancing legal agreements, particularly focusing on CA CPA contracts, and ensuring compliance throughout the process. You will work closely with developers and agents to coordinate checks, facilitate signing, and ensure all documentation is in order.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and enhance Master Service Agreements (MSA) for multi-country software, focusing on liability shifts to developers.
- Collect and organize necessary documentation, including annual calendars and milestone deliverables from developers.
- Draft and improve legal documents and annexures, ensuring compliance and clarity in communication rules and guidelines.
- Assist in the legal coordination of ongoing matters, ensuring all filings from CPA are organized and milestones are met.
- Facilitate the final rounds of review for agreements and push for timely signatures.
- Collaborate with CA CPA to ensure all legal drafts are aligned with best practices and company standards.
- Provide legal vetting and oversight on documentation, ensuring that developers' liabilities are clearly defined and managed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent legal qualification.
- 5-8 years of experience in legal document management, preferably in the software or technology sector.
- Strong understanding of CA CPA regulations and contract law.
- Excellent drafting and editing skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with developers and stakeholders.
