The team is seeking a Lead Specialist, Solution Architect to join their dynamic team in the English Language Learning (ELL) division. This role is crucial for driving the digital transformation in the EdTech sector, helping individuals worldwide to learn languages and achieve their aspirations.
As a Lead Specialist, you will report to the Engineering Lead of the Institutional Business unit. You will be responsible for defining and designing the architecture that supports our digital initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and design scalable and efficient architecture solutions for digital products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate solutions and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Evaluate and recommend technologies and tools that enhance product performance and user experience.
- Lead architectural discussions and provide guidance to development teams on best practices.
- Ensure that solutions are compliant with industry standards and security protocols.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in solution architecture, preferably in the EdTech or digital learning space.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies and architectural patterns.
- Proficiency in modern technologies and frameworks such as AWS, React, and microservices architecture.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
- A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in solution architecture or a related field is required.
