About this role
The team is seeking a Lead Specialist in Cybersecurity to serve as a strategic partner and primary security leader for assigned Business Units. This leadership role focuses on providing comprehensive security guidance and ensuring that cybersecurity is seamlessly integrated into divisional operations, product delivery, and customer trust initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the Business Information Security Officer (BISO) for designated Business Units.
- Provide expert cybersecurity guidance and support to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Lead the identification and mitigation of security vulnerabilities within the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed security best practices into operational processes.
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures tailored to the needs of the business.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to evaluate the effectiveness of security measures.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior management on cybersecurity risks and strategies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security roles.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
- Proven experience in risk management and vulnerability assessment.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Familiarity with security technologies and tools, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption methods.
