About this role
As a Lead Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the team ITC division, reporting directly to an Engineering Manager. You will collaborate closely with a Principal Engineer, Product Manager, and various cross-functional teams. Your primary focus will be to guide and mentor a team of engineers, ensuring the delivery of scalable solutions that align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of software solutions that meet business needs.
- Mentor and guide a team of engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Analyze and improve system performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in software development.
- Drive strategic discussions around technology choices and architectural decisions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience in software development with proficiency in languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies like React or Angular.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Solid understanding of software development methodologies and practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
