About this role
The team is seeking a Lead Software Engineer with a strong focus on Data Engineering to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining application features, while also taking ownership of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and ensuring environment reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable code to support various applications and services.
- Automate build and release processes to facilitate continuous delivery and model lifecycle workflows.
- Support Azure Foundry-based workloads, including model deployments and evaluation workflows.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, cloud, AI, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
- Monitor operational performance and implement improvements as necessary.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Python and Java programming languages.
- Strong experience with SQL and Snowflake for data management and analysis.
- Familiarity with Azure services and infrastructure.
- Expertise in CI/CD practices and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
Experience:
- A minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in software engineering and data engineering roles.
