About this role
The team is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to provide technical leadership and direction within their development team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software development and a strong grasp of modern web application technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of scalable web applications using C#, Java, or Python.
- Oversee the implementation of applications on cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
- Develop and maintain databases using SQL Server and NoSQL solutions like Cosmos DB.
- Prepare high-level and low-level design documents for system architecture.
- Implement best practices in Test Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), and version control using GIT.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery of software projects.
- Mentor junior developers and promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 8+ years of strong programming experience in C#, Java, or Python.
- Proficient in web application development and microservices architecture.
- Solid understanding of database management and design principles.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team.
Experience:
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in software engineering and development.
