The team is seeking a Lead Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to take on a pivotal role in ensuring the quality of their banking and financial applications. In this position, you will lead and mentor a team of SDETs, driving the overall testing strategy and enhancing testing efficiency through your expertise in automation frameworks and testing methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of SDETs, providing technical guidance and fostering career development.
- Define and execute the overall testing strategy for various projects.
- Develop and maintain automation frameworks to streamline testing processes.
- Conduct API testing to ensure robust and reliable application performance.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate testing within CI/CD pipelines.
- Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to improve product quality.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in software testing.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience in software testing and quality assurance, specifically in a banking or financial domain.
- Proficiency in automation frameworks and tools.
- Solid understanding of API testing and SQL.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
- Excellent leadership and mentoring skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
