About this role
The team is seeking a Lead Product Designer (UI/UX) who will play a pivotal role in shaping the design process and delivering exceptional user experiences. This position requires a hands-on approach while also focusing on enhancing design workflows across the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead product and UX/UI design work from problem framing through to delivery on complex projects.
- Translate user, business, and client needs into effective flows, wireframes, prototypes, and polished interfaces for both web and mobile experiences.
- Review and mentor other designers, helping to unblock challenges and elevate team quality, confidence, and speed.
- Own and improve system-level assets such as design systems and guidelines to ensure consistency across projects.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, and marketing to align design goals with business objectives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work on complex projects.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to mentor and inspire junior designers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in product design, with a focus on UI/UX.
