About this role
The team is seeking a Lead IoT Platform Engineer with extensive experience in developing and implementing IoT solutions. This role requires a strong background in Java 17, IoT platforms, and AWS, particularly AWS IoT Core. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading technical development and ensuring the scalability of IoT solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of IoT platforms using Java 17.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement IoT solutions.
- Oversee the integration of AWS IoT Core and other AWS services into IoT applications.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers in best practices and technical methodologies.
- Ensure the scalability and reliability of IoT systems through rigorous testing and optimization.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in IoT and cloud computing.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 10-16 years of overall experience in software development.
- Strong expertise in Java 17 and IoT platform development.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in IoT ecosystems and solutions.
- Proficiency in AWS services, specifically AWS IoT Core.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
