About this role
The team is seeking a strong Tech Lead who can effectively lead a development team while remaining hands-on with technology. This role will be responsible for the engineering and technology delivery of the Investor Portal and a portfolio of internal digital automations across various business functions.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Engineering Leadership: Lead and mentor the development team, own technical delivery of applications, conduct code reviews, and build a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
- Hands-on Development: Remain actively involved in development using Angular and Python, design scalable frontend applications, build robust backend services, and troubleshoot production issues.
- Investor Portal Engineering: Own the technology roadmap, manage application architecture, ensure production stability, and handle API integrations.
- Internal Automation & AI Engineering: Lead the development of automation solutions across departments, identify repetitive processes, and utilize modern AI tools to enhance productivity.
- Application Security: Own the application security posture, implement secure coding practices, and manage vulnerabilities and security testing.
- Architecture & Engineering Standards: Define application architecture standards, establish coding and deployment standards, and evaluate new technologies.
- DevOps, Cloud & Production: Collaborate with infrastructure and DevOps teams, ensure reliable application delivery, and manage production incidents.
- Engineering Productivity: Establish metrics for engineering productivity and continuously identify opportunities for improvement.
- Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Work closely with various teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions and manage vendor deliverables.
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Angular and Python, a good understanding of APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure, security, CI/CD, and modern software engineering practices.
Experience: 5-8 years in a similar role is required.
