About this role
The team is seeking a Lead Firmware UI Developer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will work in an Agile Scrum environment, collaborating closely with the Firmware Technical Manager, Scrum development team, and product management team to create and execute code for product releases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain firmware for various measurement technologies, including On-line Dissolved Gas Measurement (DGA) and Bushing Measurement (Tan Delta and Capacitance).
- Implement and optimize Partial Discharge (PD) detection techniques using UHF and Electric field measurements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product requirements are met and deliver high-quality firmware solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure robust firmware performance.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in firmware development, with a strong understanding of embedded systems.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++ and Python.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in Scrum teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of measurement technologies and related standards is a plus.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of experience in firmware development or related fields.
