Lead Engineer, Software Quality Assurance (Network Operating System)

The team is seeking a Lead Engineer in Software Quality Assurance to play a pivotal role in developing, debugging, and deploying automated test frameworks for software components used in Network Switch products. This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, including software developers, quality assurance engineers, program managers, customers, manufacturing engineering, and project leadership, to ensure the delivery of robust and high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement automated test frameworks for Network Operating System software.
• Perform Quality Assurance testing on software components to ensure functionality and performance.
• Collaborate with software developers to identify and resolve issues during the development process.
• Work closely with program managers to align testing strategies with project timelines and deliverables.
• Engage with customers to gather feedback and ensure product meets their requirements.
• Continually enhance testing processes and methodologies to improve product quality.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior QA engineers within the team.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong experience in software quality assurance, specifically in network operating systems.
• Proficiency in automated testing tools and frameworks.
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on network products.
