About this role
The team is seeking a Lead Engineer with expertise in Java Full Stack development. This role involves leading application solution development and coding activities across various solutions, ensuring high-quality application integrations and API interfaces. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building new user-facing features and reusable code libraries for future use, while working effectively within an agile framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement application solutions in Java and related technologies.
- Create new user-facing features with a focus on usability and performance.
- Build reusable code and libraries for future enhancements.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to ensure technical feasibility of designs.
- Define and implement automated testing strategies to maintain the quality of cloud applications and microservices.
- Work within Agile methodologies to deliver high-quality digital products.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in Java and experience with full stack development.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
- Experience with cloud services and microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of API development and integration techniques.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and mentor junior developers.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in software development, particularly in Java Full Stack.
